The Samsung Neon, the artificial human, is coming to smartphones this year
Neon, the company that introduced viral 'artificial humans' at CES 2020, will soon be bringing the technology to smartphones. These avatars, or neon, are 3D models that use AI to create speech, facial expressions, body language, and more. Think of Google Assistant or Alexa, but in the virtual human body.
The project is supported by Samsung Technology and Advanced Research Lab (Star Lab). And although their mission statement is vague about the future of this product, the future Neon View will be integrated into Samsung's latest models. Not to replace existing virtual assistants, but to make AI more humane.

Built on the Neon Core R3 engine (reality, reality review, and responsive). It can interact and interface with humans in real time. At least in theory, because in the demo featured at the tech event, the NEON launch seems to have been hastened and confiscated.
It looks more like a chatbot with an AI human face. Or, you can chalk it up to the hype neon created by their press release (which only previews pre-animations).

In any case, the neon, though still in its infancy, makes the computer human interaction more like life. The company plans to expand the Core R3 with Spectra, which will allow Neon to create memories, express emotions and learn. It can then be programmed to work on human jobs - name yoga instructors, teachers, colleagues, and a few others.
